Guess Who Got Married...
My little boy has finally grown up and tied the knot. It was an unconventional wedding held at our local Co-Op park. No one was invited except for his bride's best friend to witness. I am not sure what was said, or if rings were exchanged as we weren't invited. Instead, we were just told when he got home for dinner that he was married and we could come the next time. It's hard to believe that he's married!!! lol....

Sweet Moments Like These...
Dana and I are heading to Saskatoon tomorrow for one final romantic getaway before baby is born. We figure after we have three little ones... romantic getaways will be few and far between. So we splurged and got a Jacuzzi Suite and plan to have lots of and lots of.... SLEEP! What did you think I was going to say????
But because we are going away for the weekend, we thought we should do something special with the kids. So we took them to the movies, Night at the Museum 2. The kids LOVE the first one, and they chose this one. So we got our popcorn and pop (sippy cups enclosed in bag) and went down the hall. The kids grabbed their booster seats. Ava insisted on carrying it herself... of course. The kids were great throughout the movie. They laughed. They asked questions. At one point, two characters were kissing on screen and I leaned into Ava and said... 'they must love each other'. And she looked up at me with her big beautiful eyes and said 'I wuv you mommy.' and then leaned into kiss me. How can you not love that? Especially coming from a girl who reserves her affection for random moments like these. After the movie was done, both the kids said thank you and then proceeded to take the boaster seats back to where they got them.... WITHOUT being asked. What??? Who are these kids. I wish I had a camera because Ava's seat was about the same size as her. Oh and did I mention that Ava went pee on the toliet twice while we were there. I mean, told me she had to go, held it until we got to the bathroom, and went on the toliet! Something she doesn't even do at home.
Tonight I am one proud mama as my kids sleep off to slumber land and I dream of my romantic getaway with lover. It's sweet moments like these.....
